Velmona came into existence in 2019, when a Jakarta-based nutrition researcher noticed a consistent pattern in the Indonesian men's wellness market: a wide range of products making broad claims, and a narrow range of products able to produce batch-level documentation to support those claims.
The original formulation work took place across two years of sourcing review, supplier evaluation, and independent laboratory baseline testing. The first production run of Velmona Daily was archived in December 2021 — lot record 001-A, still held in the internal documentation system.
The studio operates from a Menteng district address in Central Jakarta. Operations are deliberately small in scale. The formulation team has remained at three specialists since the first production year.
Twelve ingredients. No seasonal changes.
Sufficiency, not excess
Concentrations are calibrated against published reference nutrient intake values for active adult males. The aim is to address typical insufficiency gaps — not to substitute for dietary intake or to deliver intervention-level quantities.
Documentation at every stage
Every ingredient delivery arrives with a supplier certificate of composition. Every production batch is assigned a lot record. Every batch is sampled and verified by an independent laboratory before product release. No batch leaves the facility without a complete documentation trail.
Composition consistency
The Velmona Daily formulation has not changed since the first commercial production run. Ingredient suppliers may change when a source is discontinued, but only after re-verification of the replacement supplier's elemental profile. No reformulations driven by cost reduction.
Three specialists. One address. Deliberate scale.
The Velmona studio is intentionally small. Three full-time specialists handle formulation review, supplier relations, and batch documentation. A fourth position — a senior nutrition researcher — advises on formulation updates and participates in annual sourcing audits.
The decision to remain at small scale is consistent with the formulation philosophy: a broader product range would require compromises in documentation depth that the studio is not prepared to make. The current product range of two compositions — Velmona Daily and Velmona ZnMg — represents the studio's considered output, not a starting catalogue.
The studio is located in the Menteng district of Central Jakarta, an area with established access to independent laboratory partners and international ingredient logistics. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB.

A focused zinc and magnesium composition for men seeking a standalone mineral stack. Same sourcing standards and independent verification protocol as Velmona Daily. Documentation: revision 01-A, archived April 2022.
Distribution Partnership — Jabodetabek
Selected wellness distributor partnerships established across the Jakarta metropolitan area. Distribution model retains the direct-channel documentation commitment: batch-code traceability extended to retail distribution partners.
Annual Sourcing Audit — Revision 04-B
Comprehensive sourcing audit conducted across all four ingredient regions. Three supplier certificates renewed. One magnesium citrate supplier replaced following a facility review; elemental profile of replacement source verified before reintegration into formulation.
